Allam states his response to request for referendum

This is yet another example of Allam losing the plot on this.

While he may know something about business he knows nothing about football. It's like he imagines supporting a football club is the same as choosing a brand if brown sauce.

 

Oh! I thought you meant you spent hours a day arguing the toss with other men with too much time on their hands about something as World-shatteringly-important as being a footy fan!!

 

I will keep going ....name change or not.

I will keep going premier league or division 4.

Mr 'I'm a business man' Allam should know that a contract cannot be accepted by silence. As in the example above 'if you do nothing you are giving your approval'. He may not know about football but I expected him to have common sense and reasoning and thought, not knowing about football, he would see sense and listen to people who do, I did still have respect for the man but it's diminishing fast.

Also (I know people won't want to hear this) it seems things are heading towards 'Well we aren't going to stop him so let him do it, someone will change it back' I say this because enough people aren't going to stop going to make a difference, people are saying it's the team i support not the name so just go with it, don't adopt the new name and it will be changed back by our next owners.

I am against the name change but every article I see pop up on here about Mr Allam not budging I lose more and more faith that we can make a difference and it just seems more inevitable.

I run my own company and I know that if I pi**ed off many of my customers they would stop buying.

If Mr Allam wants to run it like a business then run it like a business, he says if we do nothing we are giving our consent to the name change which is what he is trying to prove but in business that doesn't work.

 

Class - So AA will be ****ed when he comes to try the renaming part anyway? I'm beginning to dislike the egotistical maniac a little more each day.

 

I'd bet that Muffin's not talking about attendance at games, but rather about buying the Doctator's branded merchandise.....
