I don't take any game lightly, Everton might have expected to win at managerless Palace but could easily have lost.

However, I don't think Stoke would dare go for a draw in front of their own fans against a team below them.

Providing we have Brown playing, and a midfield working as hard a Stoke, I'd hope we could score a goal or two and win it.

The Stoke supporters aren't sounding too confident and hopefully the pressure will be on them rather than us.

I think the game will be won in the middle of the park fella (seems strange saying that) even though it is Stoke Vs Sunderland! I think we'll take them myself.

Fully agree Bri. It'll be a tough game but if we turn up with the same team that beat City, i reckon we have enough to take the points. Both Colback and Ki are in great form at the minute and i expect that to continue, Fletcher will be fitter and i'm expecting a couple from him.

Hopefully we win but it wouldn't surprise me if we lose 1-0 & the goal comes from corner.

Draw is a realistic achievable result, however if we can catch them cold then if we defend like we did against Citeh we could snatch a win.

However, if I stop myself from dreaming....................I'm expecting a defeat by the odd goal, probably from an own goal at a set piece.

    Stoke are far from unbeatable.

    I don't think we're ****e any more tbh.
I'm not saying we'll definitely win but, as I said, Stoke are far from unbeatable.

I'm saying we're not ****e as beating Newcastle, Southampton & Man City proves beyond any doubt.

I'm also only saying that Stoke are beatable.

It's hardly claiming we're Barcelona is it?

Most of the season we have been shi* tho. we beat Southampton b team, we beat Newcastle with a world class goal but most of the second half it was all newcastle & the man city game was just lucky again.

Of course Stoke are beatable but so are we. like I said to you before if we get 4-6 points from the next 2 away games then I will eat my own shi*.

    Oh really?

Just remind me how many saves our keeper made ......... we had more chances than they did in the 2nd half and Borini almost scored before the winner.

We beat Man City fair and square ............ remind me how many saves our keeper made in that one as well.

    Lucky <doh>

We've moved up from "****" through "****" and are now offically "bad". That puts us on the same level as Stoke, so this is a win we should really go for. Could go either way, but we've Chelsea and Spurs at home coming up and definitely need the points.

Go watch the second half against newcastle again pal. we didn't look like scoring before we score. be honest with yourself when Newcastle scored you thought we would get beat. they had about 2 to 3 shots what just went past the posts. think one was kebab man & the other one from Ameobi. both goalkeepers didn't have much to do.

The city game was just like the newcastle one. both goalkeepers didn't have much to do. overall city was the better team but we won. thats football for you.

So you've forgotten that Borini put one past Krul that he managed to grab, at the second attempt, just before it crossed the line?

I watched the game half a dozen times as well as actually going to the game so know it off by heart.

No, I didn't think we'd be beaten, Newcastle were just firing in shots from 25/30 yards because we stifled them.

    They mainly went well wide.

You're wasting your time mate. His footballing views are completely one dimensional. If we're not attacking, we're ****. He doesn't have the brainpower to appreciate well organised defending.
