FC Biel annouce friendly against Saints

The official FC Biel website has announced a friendly against Southampton away in Switzerland. Thoughts?

Confirmed reports that we are planning a trip to Switzerland. I know in previous years some fans liked to follow the team abroad. It would have been nice to get some warning for their sakes.

 

I am on of those fans Fran unfortunately couldn't make the trip last year but a few mates did. Just about to book my flights from Gatwick to Zurich (£35 one way) and from Zurich to Bern is £9 on the train. Just got to find a flight back, but hopefully won't be too bad. My summer holiday planned!

 

Really envy you. Can't wait for retirement so i can just make these sudden decision. Lovely country. Enjoy your trip.

 

:O Is it that cheap? I reckon the whole trip would cost less than my holiday's which consists of reading festival. Anyone wanna buy a reading ticket?

 

I can't see you being very successful in selling that ticket, with the line up this year........perhaps it is just me but its awful

I travel to Euroland with my job, so I think I'l be making some appointments in that direction in July.

It probably is unconfirmed as Saints will be trying to schedule other friendlies.

 

SH thanks the website seemed to say 6th of june but thats already passed unless im really bad at counting months!

 

There's more information on the homepage of their website, the date is Wednesday the 13th july 6.30 kick off Swiss time. Anyone thinking of coming?

Pre season seems to be shaping up quite nicely now. Just hope they have a successful one unlike last year!

I'm going via Easy Jet, as theres only 2 of us going. But a few mates last year drove, two car loads i believe and shared the driving. They did both games against FC Thun and Sochaux. They managed to meet Liebherr and have a conversation about if he had not bought Saints he was going to buy a supermarket chain of some sort! They also met the players, Pardew etc. I can only hope my trip is half as good!

 

Haha... I think they mean 1899/00 and 1901/02! Oh well.
