I've said for ages that he edges it over Messi for me but I know I'm in a minority. Messi is excellent of course but I get the feeling he needs a great team around him whereas this guy can win you a game single handed. Dribbling skills, pace, great finishing, dead ball - he's got the lot.
No matter who thinks who's better, there's no denying that CR7 and Messi are head and shoulders above anyone else in the world, and probably anyone who's played in the last 20 years or so. So many people dislike Ronaldo but I do think he's the most exciting player there is to watch.
