Unless you are a great fan of friendlies, the most intense game to Watch tonight is the second leg playoff between Sweden and Portugal. Portugal won the first leg at home 1-0. Sweden are a strong team when playing at home... And watching Ibrahimovic play in front of his favorite crowd...
Will be interesting to see if France can turn it round tonight. I'd like to see Iceland get to Brazil for no other reason than its an incredible place to visit.
Sweden is a sexy sexy country, so I hope they turn it around. For a more in-depth feel for their leagues and general background, check out my blogs on the subject. 100% accurate . Having a sexy Scandinavian boss, I rebuke you thoroughly for not following suit. Damn Cristiano. He must have some Danish in him.
Because he can watch Ronaldo score a hattrick on TV while running his fingers through that luscious mane and plotting to fire Swansea to the latter stages of European competition? Doesn't make any sense at all.
I've said for ages that he edges it over Messi for me but I know I'm in a minority. Messi is excellent of course but I get the feeling he needs a great team around him whereas this guy can win you a game single handed. Dribbling skills, pace, great finishing, dead ball - he's got the lot.
No matter who thinks who's better, there's no denying that CR7 and Messi are head and shoulders above anyone else in the world, and probably anyone who's played in the last 20 years or so. So many people dislike Ronaldo but I do think he's the most exciting player there is to watch. Always drama, whether he's banging in goals with head or either foot, getting ogres sent off or showboating and winding up defenders. So in essence, I agree with you KJ .
Steady on you'll pull something. Yes, forgot the aerial ability - he kind of just hangs there doesn't he? Fantastic player, and I agree probably one of the best in the last 20 years.
