Andy's a player that can divide opinion thatis true ... but his real value is that he will get you a few goals - nice to see him notching on the International scene.

Personally, I'm a fan ... part of his problem is that he is not particularly distinctive looking on the pitch ... so a lot of the good work he does goes unnoticed ... to his detractors I would say go have a look at the televeised games ... it's far easier to see his contribution on camera ... I think he should grow his hair shoulder length and dye it white blonde ... we'd all see him then <laugh>

Maybe it is my failing eyesight, but I have been impressed with AK this season. Compliments and covers DD exceptionally well. Have seen that he doesnt tackle mentioned on this board - but who the **** does these days. The Kellards and Carlins that I remember in midfield would be dismissed every other game now. The only midfield player that I have seen consistently get 'stuck in' (ignoring Barton) is Austin at Leeds - we missed a trick there. We all want to have referees that are virtually invisible during a match - teams also need at least 1 player to do the same - close down space, shadow, pass short. Kingy has done that this year, and allows DD to go chasing the ball. My opinion, and would be the first to admit that James would do the same job. In cullinary terms, to enjoy a feast, you first need someone to peel the spuds.

Just about agree with all you say ... would add the names of Steve Kember and Ali Mauchlen to Kellard and Carlin <laugh>

I rate King but I think once he breaks into the team he does really well but then after around 10 games he starts to cruise and needs a kick up the arse. Its not like we dont have decent players backing up. We all seen how good Matty James was at the back end of last season and even this season he has been superb. Danny Drinkwater is looking like he did for the majority of last season again. Maybe Nigel putting him on the transfer list was a clever tactic by Nigel as Drinkwater has always been a key part this season and pre season. That list that got put out did even have Ben Marshall's name on it

For me I would drop King for the Ipswich game and bring in Matty James and Dean Hammond for his experience. I cant see Ipswich playing pretty tippy tappy football and its games like that we struggle with. This is the type of game when we need Dean Hammond, his experience and Marcin Wasilewski at the back should make us alot tougher in this types of games and all us to win these games unlike relying on the flair and unpredictability of Knockaert

With Hammond and James behind him, he can't go missing as often and expect to be picked the next week.

I'd be very surprised if he's not playing (unless he's picked up a knock on international duty) ...

Yeah id think he would start, but i was talking about previous seasons, where he'd score a cracker of goal one game, and then under perform for the next 4-5 games.

Isnt the same goal threat as he used to be but is a more positionally disciplined, well-balanced midfielder.

I do like Kingy, but he DOES go missing for long periods and you just can't do that as a central midfielder.

For those who aren't going to the game today, listen to Radio Leicester and if his name is mentioned 10 times, then it will be a miracle.
