Clearly not done on the NHS judging by how beautifully that bandage has been applied. To save anyone else asking, I have forwarded our best wishes messages onto the club and Adam be handing them over to Ale next week.
You are right in fact 3 countries apart if driving from India you would travel through Bangladesh ,Burma , Thailand into Malyasia
He will come back and he will gain a new contract. The season we gained promotion to the Premier league I said the he was the most naturally gifted player we had at the club, I've seen nothing to change my opinion.
From the BBC today: 1626: FOOTBALL Queens Park Rangers midfielder Alejandro Faurlin is recovering in Barcelona after an operation on his left knee. The 27-year-old ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament playing against Derby County on 2 November, and QPR's head of medical services Dr Peter Florida says: "He really appreciates all the messages he has received from the fans and his team-mates. It has really helped to lift him. He was obviously very upset immediately afterwards but his spirits are much better now. "His knee is obviously still a bit sore but he is doing well. He will be staying out there [Spain] for a few weeks."
Jimmy Bullard will be planning to come out of retirement if contracts are going to be given to players with career threatening injuries before they show they can come back. But surely the second there's a get out clause in the deal all the uncertainty returns for him? Is it the same injury twice, or different legs?
I'm not saying Faurlin would do it intentionally, but if the idea is it'll attract players you have to consider what type will be most attracted by it. You'll be the safe club to go to for players who've got doubts about whether they're going to come back from a current injury. eg we've got Aluko out for the second time with an Achilles injury and he's due back about a month before the season ends. His contract is up in the summer, so if he comes back and does well in that month you'd be a prime club for him to move to if he knows that recurrence again in a year or two won't harm his new contract. Could create a situation where you get players who've got doubts whilst the ones who are sure they're recovered go elsewhere. Equally I'm not Faurlin shouldn't be given a contract, I just don't think straight after he has the injury and before it's seen how he recovers from it is the time to say he'll definitely be given one.
It's about how the Club should treat a faithful servant. It's his 2nd ACL in 2 years (different legs) and he has always been the consummate professional. He deserves some loyalty. Every case is different. Not really bothered what happens anywhere else or what others think about the Club for treating him in the right way.
