Ambivalent. I have laughed at some of his stuff, but he's so far up his own ****ing arse, it's not true. I don't actually like him, or what I think he's like.
Love his stand up and the office, extras and Derrick. Love an idiot abroad although that mainly Karl (who I also find hilarious) Also Stephen merchants stand up is great. Can completely understand why people wouldn't get him and think he's up his own ass but I think a lot of that is a big act
Idiot abroad I liked but grew bored of it by end of 2nd series. Still good to watch to see the different countries though Derrek was brilliant, really enjoyed that Office is my 2nd all time favourite after Alan Partridge Extras was okay in places but not brill Whens the next series of Derrek on?
I like him Pilkington and Merchant too. The office was classic TV, many have tried to emulate it and failed, including the Yanks. Been watching 'The Moaning of Life', which is funny as ****. Overall the guy is pretty legendary when you think what's he done (in a relatively short period). He's a ****ing knob on twitter though!
The Ricky Gervais show was the only one I've ever particularly liked His first two stand ups were alright at the time but he's started to annoy me a bit
