    On ssn ended as follows..

    3. Bale vs Stoke
    2. Beckford vs Chelsea
    1. Rooney vs City

Now don't get me wrong, Rooney's goal was a good goal, but many players have scored from an overhead kick before, I don't get why everyone is drooling over it?

Deflected cross and off of his shins, how is that great? Imo there has been better goals this season such as:

    Tiote vs Arsenal
    Nasri vs Blackburn
    Mark Davies vs Blackpool
    Tevez vs Stoke

Goal of the season = Elmander vs Wolves.

    Anyone who disagrees is wrong.

    Because its Wayne Rooney?

If any one such as Lovenkrands scored it, it would have been called lucky because it came off his shin and not even given goal of the month.

    Ridiculous.

Tiote's wasn't even nominated was it? An absolute joke.

Rooney's goal wasn't even that good, he messes up a simple pass just before it. Berbatov's was much better.

  6. Tiote's goal was too good to be on SSN, as it would make the TV screen jizz

Come on now, yes, Rooney's goal got more exposure because of who it was, but to say it wasn't even that good is ridiculous. It was a stunning goal. He's still a fat potato head ****.

    Again, Elmander's goal >>>>> *

And how the **** did Beckford's get number 2? Yeah he ran along way but Chelsea weren't even trying and he got one massive bobble to send him away.

Colo's against Wolves was celebrated by the players as much as any of the others.

Tiote's should definitely be up there, as well as an unstoppable strike the crowd went wild and everyone knows how important it was..

Rooney's was awesome though, it was instinctive and spontaneous, and pretty much perfectly placed in the top corner. The only bad thing about it was the connection with the boot/shin.

And don't get me wrong I think Rooney's an idiot too haha

I think Tiote's goal vs Arsenal was brilliant, a bit lucky maybe - but then all the candidates had a bit of luck with them...

Meireles v Wolves is another good shout as well.

  16. How was Tiote's goal lucky? It was a perfectly timed volley. It had much less luck about it than Rooney's goal. Rooney's goal actually came off his shin.

To be fair Tiote's wasn't in the top 3, i can't believe Nasri v Fulham wasn't in the top 3!? if Messi had done that we wouldn't of heard the last of it!

Don't think there was any luck about it, he looked up saw where the keeper was, put his eye back on the ball ( told the ball where to go ) and timed his strike perfectly.
