Well now at work and shattered. Gutted about the loss but looking at it we played quite well.

Missed some great chances - 2 yards from TD and a fumble.

Broncos did their homework to be fair, the offensive line protected Manning well.

Let's hope the D coach comes up with some new ideas for 2 weeks time!

One of the greatest is Sid the Shark at Sussex CCC.

Well who is going to win the DB KC return fixture in Arrowhead? Peyton was supreme last night, but I think it will be tighter there.

Get used to that if Chiefs carry on being good. Expect a fair few more Prime Times (maybe even one or two flex this year)!

The Vikings now up to 2nd overall pick \o/. Jags have a relatively easy schedule, but its the Jags so no doubt they won't win another game. Pretty sure if both Vikes and Jags finish on the same no of wins the Vikes overtake them due to the teams they've played.

My biggest concern now is the Falcons who are almost as bad as the Vikes and look to be properly tanking

I've not seen any Minnesota games since Wembley so I only see clips from the Sky Red Zone updates, but is it me or does he seem to get intercepted a lot? It seems every week he throws it straight to the opposition who then precede to score a touch down

Falcons will take Clowney. They've still got one of the best QBs in the NFL and he's still only 28, so they definitely won't go for Teddy or Mariota.

Yeah I don't think they will go QB either, but they may look to trade to somebody who does want QB, like Jags/Texans/Browns off the top of my head. If they went with the Jags then they still have a good chance of getting Clowney I would say aswell as some extra picks.

Yeah true, but if I remember correctly you don't mind which of Bridgewater and Mariota you get? So #2 would still be okay.

Well thats not quite true. I was pretty much resigned to having no chance of getting Bridgewater as I didn't think we would get ahead of the Jags, and Mariota was the next one down from what I've heard he is better than the next group of Hundley/Boyd/Manziel. But given the reasonable chance that Vikes do get first overall then Bridgewater would be the obvious choice.

The other potential option would be to trade out of first, hoping to get an RG3 like trade, and go D in the first with possibly Clowney/Barr early on and then get one of the Hundley group later on. The reality is that Vikes have so many holes that if they are picking top 3 (likely) or even top 5 (pretty much a cert) then they can't really miss with whoever they go for.

Jimmy Garropolo, I think I was talking about with you, has a big article in Sports Illustrated now :D They are comparing him to Tony Romo though...

Fair enough, I must have remembered incorrectly. Plenty of times for things to change - I keep thinking every week that Falcons are surely bound to win soon. They've got too many players not to (but then, Vikes have Adrian Peterson).

Yeah that's an idea that always sounds alright, but you really don't want to end up in an Andy Dalton situation because you didn't take a top QB. If you make the right mid-round pick (Wilson-esque) then it's great but that doesn't happen too often. I'd rather take a top QB then a defender at the top of round 2 (which is basically a first, it's so close) than the other way around, as nice as a trade and loads of mid-first picks would be.

Yeah you did mention Jimmy Garoppolo! The Romo comparisons might be alright, same college, both projected undrafted etc. Romo isn't really bad anyway, he has some spells of being really, really good.

A WR in the draft would be nice for KC next year :)

Colts have about ten positions we need to draft. Good thing we've got a good solid first rounder - oh wait.

Also, Kubiak has announced Keenum is starter again, sorry Cove :(

Read that there was quite a backlash from that decision last night, don't want to get bad blood with the fans understandably. Schaub is out in Houston but Keenum won't be winning much either. They're in a big pickle at the Texans.
