There was no actual "action" on display, wrong time of year! But Dawn at Darley walked everyone through the process from the mare getting off the horse box, through her passport/microchip check, her vet examination and on into the covering she'd.

Everyone seemed to enjoy bouncing on the covering shed floor, which is made of shredded tyres for safety purposes.

It can be difficult at times. If you are trying to upload from your computer it depends what file type you have and how big it is.
Try this first to see what happens.

    1. Click on the insert image icon (3rd from right)
    2. You should get this displayed temp.JPG
    3. Click from computer and then click choose file
    4. Locate the file on your computer and double click it
    5. This will be displayed temp2.JPG
    6. Click upload file(s)

If you get an error message please make a note of it and post it so we can look into it.

Alternatives are to upload to Facebook or Youtube. If you can arrange that I'll show you how to download onto the forum from one of those.

So in the Insert Image box there is a tab "From URL" but not one to the left of it "From Computer". That and not being able to view the images in my post sounds like a problem a couple on the Wycombe Forum had the other day. I'll report it. Sorry you have had so much trouble JW.

Ron, that's exactly the issue I had - I had to post the pictures via Facebook in the end.

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to do? just as a general query have you added images before?

What you are displaying in your text is what you see by clicking on the portrait window in your tool bar. Is that what you want or do you require 'Go Advanced' and click the paperclip to upload from your desktop. Sorry just trying to get some clarity.

They are trying to upload photos they took at the Stable visit brb. But the insert image dialogue only allows from URL. All my images (Odds, Balances etc are images from my computer and I have no problem but these folk can't view the images I posted above. Sounds similar to what happened on the Wycombe forum.

Just by way of confirmation, when you click the icon "insert image" you just get a box to enter the URL. The option to browse your computer for images which I also used to use, has been removed.

Its a board problem Jamba, there USED to be an option to browse your computer and upload an image, but that feature has "disappeared".

As Ron says - until this gets fixed, if it ever does - then uploading to another hosting site such as Photobucket, Utube etc and entering their URL, may be the only way to post your pics.

Mine were worse that PN's on my borrowed camera, so not fussed at posting them!
