Of a newer generation, a newer class, upper echelon if you will!!!! #canigoonyourboat #please #pagewillbringacecider
Oh I won't I won't, Class is a permanent state we British both invented it and are experts in its niceties.
Well I've lasted over a year without a cigarette so I think I'll keep on being a smoker that is not presently smoking - don't think you ever truly become an ex-smoker.
Maybe it depends on age and being active? Don't like it but I did smoke in HS ( 16-18) and got to the pack a day standard ( looking back, really ****ed me up on getting to the level of playing I wanted to ) but when I made the decision to play pro and to then go on and coach, I just quit and that was it. Now I can't stand it. Same with weed, had some good times with the sticky icky but can't see myself doing it anymore at all. I just stick to the bevs. EDIT: Age as in I made the decision quite young to just stop. I think being active and having other things to occupy the mind helped tremendously.
I started at 10. In the 70s I was buying 5 packs per day. But when they tell you that your LAD is 60-70% blocked you don't really have a choice!
You made your choices young bluff and apart from the booze is standing you in good stead but you're right it depends on many things as to the lifestyle you lead. I don't drink, smoke or swear. Ah for ****s sake I just dropped my ciggie in my pint.
Didn't help that around the same time I got into the smoking ( and like an idiot not focusing on what I was good at.... ****ing football! ) my grandmother came down with lung cancer from..... cigs. Pretty much helped put an end to that as well. Or at least point me in the right direction. Can you smoke in bars in Britain?
No mate, but usually if there's a stay behind(after hours drinking)in the boozer I go to the ashtrays come out once the shutters are over the windows.
**** is ****ing sideways tonight mate, good thing I have my shows and my beers. Already played the footy so all is good. If I don't post in the morning, I blew away with dorothy!
