Allams have never made a bid for the KC stadium?

I don't think Lloyd was viewed as a saviour at the time, nor now by many, so I wouldn't expect so for a moment.

The huge failing in all of this is the lack of transparency. I totally respect your reason for not posting all of what you know, but I do think somebody should be.

    Hi Mel,
I think AA is just another master of the corridor conversation; I would seriously believe that he will tell you whatever it is he thinks will float your particular boat.

As I have said to Dutch, the lack of transparency in all of this stinks to high heaven. It would seem that you, the reps, AA, his team, Uncle Tom Cobley and the crew of the good ship Venus all know what was said at the meeting. It's about time that someone decided to speak the truth and shame the devil. To prevent folk drawing harmful conclusions, I would recommend a little honesty. One of the things life has taught me is that lies travel by word of mouth far quicker than print; in the favour of print is the fact that you can study it and eliminate the person.

His (AA) conduct to date leaves a great deal to be desired.

You're obviously a man who is used to 'boardroom shenanigans' etc and will know from experience the way meetings, with 'all and sundry' proceed.

Bits of conversations, whispers and overheard quotes may be taken in a different context by one person than the next.
Mr Allam seems the type who will say whatever's needed to bend someone's ear and will be deliberately vague.

I doubt you'd get 2 people to agree if they described the meeting as they saw it ..... the 'truth' would probably be the last thing to come out.

I truly sympathise with anyone trying to deal with this man.

Didn't he enter his generator company as a bit of a 'Trojan horse' and take over an undervalued company from under their feet?

I chose to post what I want on here. The fact that I know something about the stadium meeting and will not tell. Isn't to re-enforce my position as a poster, it's because I like some others have been asked not to.

I accept what is being said to me about the meeting because I have heard similar reports come from other meetings with both sides. Those people who deal directly with councillors and Assem Allam on regular basis will not be surprised by what happened it seems par for the course.

LLoyd did do us a favour, were it not for the lockout then Hull City Council may not have built the KC with the express intention of never letting things get to a situation where we could get locked out again.

A £120 million loan secured against the stadium would mean ultimately a creditor could do just that

That's one reason why you would put the stadium in the SMC's name rather than the club's, even if the SMC was then owned by the club. It would go a fair way to protecting the two clubs' positions.

If you want to safeguard the stadium the SMC isn't the vehicle for it.

I have spoken to a number of people who went to school with Ehab.He is absolutely from this area.I really doubt they would rip off the club and invite a back lash which could be very unpleasant for them unless they move away from their home and business.
Other owners who have acted badly were not actually from this area.
I just find it hard to believe that AA would bring such grief on his own family.
From what I have been told Ehab is a pretty normal bloke who likes a bit of a piss take/banter.
I just do not see them wanting their entire family to be totally hated in the community.

I'm saying if Allam were to be made the owner of the stadium, that's how I'd look to protect the positions of the clubs. If the SMC owned the stadium and went into **** the best option the creditors would have would be to take over the running short term and sell it on as soon as possible. The business of the club would be protected from it much more than if we directly owned it and had it repossessed. Unless I'm looking at it too much from a moral standpoint of someone doing repossessions. I just think if I was repossessing a buy to let house for example I'd be much more inclined to work to look out for tenants than I would owner occupiers. The owner occupiers have at least to a point brought it on themselves, where a tenant is at the mercy of what the landlord is doing behind their back.

    Look up community assets.

By the way, if you wn a property and the tenant doesn't pay you, do you let them off or do you ask them to leave? What happens if they refuse? Who you gonna call ghostbusters or the bailiffs?

It all gets very sad, because folk tend to devolve to what they know. AA, in my opinion, is playing everyone against each other. He bumbles, but he is no buffoon; in my opinion he is the most insincere man I have come across in quite some time. He is playing the crowd and this punter thinks he has him taped - he is all to ready too take folk on and all too prepared to draw a line between sincere openness and a strategy of attrition and bloodimindedness.

Do I want his money - aye, but not him; so he can keep his money for me.
