Don't know if it was mentioned on any other threads but with France being 2-0 down against Ukraine in the first leg of their WC play off, does anyone think there might be a chance of Remy coming back to us sooner rather than later (If ever) ??
I mean, is there any point in him wanting to get Premiership football, so he is being seen in WC year or is that a load of b***** and he never wanted to play for us in the first place??
Can we recall him early in January or is it a season loan ??

I think it is immaterial. The contract is binding for one year, I believe.

Plus he has still got this court case hanging over him.

They paid a fee, the only chance of him coming back is if he get a season ending injury.
Im 90% sure we will never see him play for us again even if we go up.

quality striker, me thinks he could be staying up there, then again joke Kinnear could easily undermine him, or get his name wrong

As I've said before Remy won't sign for Toon and he won't come back to us whatever. He'll be happy to stay at Toon and score goals that will be a perfect shop window for a Champion's League club to snap him up for £8 million which will be a snip at today's silly prices. I won't be surprised to see one of the big guns move for him once his court case is settled...

As sooper has said, he already stated he doesn't want to stay up there, he'll want to go to a Champions League team. Won't see him in Hoops again I'm afraid!

We could use a player with his abilities but I agree, we won't see hm back in the hoops again. O'course, I thought that about Barton, too

If France had chosen to play Remy, he might have scored them a few goals and improved their current situation? Perhaps they should roll the dice and bring him back for the 2nd leg against Ukraine?

I doubt either Remy or Taarabt are coming back.

Both look 100% gone to me.

They may not play for their current clubs (Newcastle and Fulham respectively) next year but I have strong doubts they will be here.

Sorry, I missed the game last Fri - yes, I see he was subbed off, right after Ukraine scored their 1st goal.

Would love to see Remy at Arsenal as they're the PL team I root for when we're not there.

He could be the missing piece in their jigsaw. They lack a striker to compete with Giroud. When Giroud's on form, Remy could play where Walcott currently plays, but could take Giroud's place when he's not on form. Imagine Ozil and Carzola creating chances behind Remy...it could be dangerous!
