This thread shouldn't have been created as you should have been banned from this board two weeks ago.

 

I would point out that some of the posts since this, seem to be lacking the usual "Once upon a time" such things usually have.

I'm happy to let the other mods decide the reality. So not much more to add.

It's a cross forum network. All are welcome, but some just need a little pruning on certain threads to stop them drifting too far.

Can't speak for recent posts. The board has been moderately unreadable recently, so I've refrained. Given his previous form though, I'd be amazed if he wasn't been a **** to draw reaction again.

I said that if your mod thought it was fine to swamp threads, which were nothing to do with Hull, and insult people I'd eventually be forced to do the same.
This was a week after the Hull-Sunderland game and the subjects weren't to do with the game.

He, and a couple of others, responded in his usual childish fashion and continued.
I gave another warning, which was ignored, and therefore posted on here for the first time ever.

The thread you mentioned was locked by Sid, the mod, due to your mod coming back time after time to post childish insults and cracks about Sunderland people being special needs.
He removed posts with offensive language.

If you applaud that kind of thing that's your business.

 

I have to disagree smugs posts have been excellent in the main.

His description of Ken Bates stomping round Monaco still makes me chuckle.

He's now deliberately made me the focus of attention whereas I've previously been happily & quietly discussing your dilemma, with decent people, for days.

The odd few I deleted were more because they would drift the thread off into petty squabble rather than being the out and out argument type stuff that got his threads locked on other boards.

It's drifted here because, as you can see, he wanted an explanation, and it too would have disrupted the other thread.


Unless it's just to try and reinvent the past or to post mindless abuse, I'm quite happy for it to be left to whoever's looking at it and go by their decision.

 

Pretty much this Smug. DMD and PLT, but mostly DMD, think this is a mature and appropriate way to "moderate" threads. Other than DMD and PLT no-one else agrees but they've got the Mod Badges so pretty much do what they want. Disruptive behavior is grounds for a forum/site ban, but they'd much rather just flex their virtual muscles like to remind everyone of their (im)potency. It's embarassing tbh and I'd like to apologise for them.

Don't ever argue with either one of them too, or you'll end up with a thread like this too.

Oh I forgot mention the "explanations" DMD will give which will make your teeth ache at his earnest attempt to appear serious and thoughtful, but comes over as condescending and righteous.

There was no suggestion of a squabble, petty or otherwise, and everyone was getting along fine until you came along.

I've generally found all the mods on this forum to be alright - I've disagreed with a few opinions, on and off the topic of city, but we're humans and it happens now and again.

Most people don't have posts deleted/moved - if you do/have take a look at yourself first.

 

Why would you want to get rid of me, I thought you welcomed other supporters and appreciated a different point of view?

I've been nothing but polite and reasonable on here on the 'name' and 'stadium' threads.

This thread was started by your mod deliberately to attract posts like yours, I was getting on fine with everyone until now.

Shame as the stadium thread was very good but, due to this ****e, had died a bit of a death.
