Not another one with connections! Should be interesting. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24915538
On a relatively football-free night, it may be worth watching here http://www.coolsport.tv/schedule.html - on stream 7
It is nearly tomorrow here, and I don't think I will start watching people charging around after a bit of rubber. Night all.
Think I would be trying to improve my golf game rather than try and get another job. "Roberto Di Matteo, 43, is still being paid £130,000 a week by Chelsea, despite being sacked as manager 12 months ago. The Italian was unable to reach a settlement after being dismissed last November, and will continue to receive the money until June 2014 unless he takes another job."
Oh dear! Mexico 2-0 New Zealand at half time and there is only one team it. Pumping the long ball up to Chris Wood isn't going to achieve anything.
This is so sad. http://www.mfc.co.uk/page/news/latest/0,,1~3536755,00.html Her song "two thirds of a piece" is so beautiful. Please visit her youtube account and help to send her song "I cant make you love me" viral. It was her dream, so lets help make it come true in her memory! Not sure it's appropriate to follow Dan's post with this, but it did make me chuckle http://twitter.com/BenWilson11/status/401028599270346752/photo/1
http://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/...sinking-ship/story-20081335-detail/story.html Made me crack up!!
Oh dear - so sad...... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2508505/QPR-face-record-fine-losing-80million.html
It makes no sen to fine a club that is massively in debt, how will they pay it? They should be just be deducted huge numbers of points and force them to be relegated. That way the clubs that they cheated by overpaying these ridiculous salaries will benefit as well.
You're right with that - fining them on that scale would serve no purpose at all, apart from filing some pockets of those at the top. As much as I don't particularly like the club, I wouldn't like to see them disappear under the weight of a fine that large - dropping down a division or two would be ample.
I think they should fine them and deduct a massive number of points. Better still put them in the pub league alongside our nearest and far from dearest.......
Just having a second read of the article about QPR and their financial woes. There is a sentence in there that says: "They could avoid a fine — or at least postpone it — if they fail to get promoted. In that case, they will be hit with a lengthy transfer embargo." Is this then a reason for them to fall out of the promotion race?
