Do you guys have big steel tops to the sewers along the curbs of the streets? Probably a silly question but same with me, I was younger and playing footy in the street and tripped up and smashed my head wide open on one of those. Guess that is why we are all here!
Man hole covers? Yes, they are metal but they are level with the ground so it would be like a blunt instrument wound.

Ya, we have them on the sides so the rain can drain into them. They are level but raised so when I fell I caught the opening part. It was the only time in my life I felt bald as they had to shave nearly half my hair to get the stitches and bandages on.
