    Best was champ manager 01-02

Remember buying Defoe & Torres, best young strike partnership in the game.

Format after that went downhill and never really got into them since then

  2. <ok>

In the 00-01 verson, Carl Cort was superb. He kept Ronaldo (fat Brazilian) out of my league title winning Boro side <laugh>

Love how you get some young players that turn out awesome like Torres was and then some completely unrealistic like that!

  4. There were always a few in the lower leagues that become immense too, kind of like cheat players. Going back a bit further (about 96-98) there were two players at Cambridge Utd that you could buy for about £200k each, they both became world class stars within a season or two <laugh>

They just wont survive on the forum today, it's just ban straight away. As much as it was fun years ago it was also ****ing nuts and easily got out of hand.

To me a balance has to be struck people should be able to post freely but also have to consider others. People who may be easily offended need to understand that people are free to post their thoughts and that there is an ignore button if you don't like someone.

    Rant over. <laugh>

Bloody hell I sparked something there <yikes>

I meant WUM's who knew what they were talking about. We had UIR on here the other day saying Suarez is a flat-track bully based on one game, and now Sm1thy this morning making me want to gouge my eyes out.

I agree with you though I almost miss BringBackBenitez and wakka as there was fun to be had, the wums now are fairly stable and to be a good wum you have to be a little unhinged. <laugh>

I did but went with Lille to bring them back to the fold. Nolan Roux is killing it for me.

Victor Moses scores for Nigeria in the WCQ btw.

Why can't you just ban the bugger?

    (1) Because he exists

    (2) He continually infests the threads

That shou;d do for a rationale

funny you talking about this because I bought myself the 2011 football manager game the otherday for £4 <ok>

haven't played for years last version was 2008 I think and the Mrs made me snap it in half or she was gonna leave me. :D

just started playing it today, downloaded a patch for it and we still had konchesky Carroll maxi .and Cole all I've managed to sell so far, got Ford coming in and had a cheeky bid for bale cos Enrique isn't rated that good.

yeh so I'll be on less. :D

  20. I heard a stat a couple of weeks back. Can't remember the exact percentage but it was something like 5% of all divorces where blamed on CM/FM <laugh>
