There were always a few in the lower leagues that become immense too, kind of like cheat players. Going back a bit further (about 96-98) there were two players at Cambridge Utd that you could buy for about £200k each, they both became world class stars within a season or two
They just wont survive on the forum today, it's just ban straight away. As much as it was fun years ago it was also ****ing nuts and easily got out of hand. To me a balance has to be struck people should be able to post freely but also have to consider others. People who may be easily offended need to understand that people are free to post their thoughts and that there is an ignore button if you don't like someone. Rant over.
