Thought he was ok in the first half, hard for him to shine on a difficult night against a good side surrounded by strangers!

 

Lallana has certainly shown Roy he is more useful than Milner and Cleverley.

Chile have ruined this game by playing the ball around there own box. Doesn't help that England are poor at pressing.

 

Difficult game to prove yourself, but Adam did fine considering. Jay did look a bit lost. Of course if it was Saints, he would had more of the ball.

To be fair, I know Rodriguez didn't offer too much but I'd say Townsend has been worse.

 

I'd be surprised at how woefully Hodgson has prepared the side for this game but then again Premier League teams are still managing to be bamboozled by us on a weekly basis... And I also had minimal faith in Roy to begin with!

Lets all pass it about our own half and fall over when breathed on. They counter well and that's about it, England press poorly letting them do what they want.

 

Think this is what you call a "professional" performance by Chile. One bit of poor defending from us and there's no way back. A few players will have learnt something at least.
