I would like to thank you all for running such a fair and competitive campaign and for opening my eyes to so many new perspectives. I would also like to thank my campaign manager and all of the many volunteers who worked tirelessly to help me achieve this accomplishment. Lastly, I would like to thank my family and friends for their unending support, my brothers for their late-night pep talks, and the baristas at the local coffee house who saw me entirely too often throughout this campaign. But most of all, thank you to the board members for using your voice, your vote, to express your confidence in me. Thank you! This award is apt confirmation that through words I have annoyed the **** out of certain manc members.
