Interesting! Thanks. Sounds like the sort of team that JRod should be able to exploit. If they have any attacking quality as well as numbers then I'm sure they will cause England all sorts of problems. Despite having a lot of possession in the recent qualifiers I thought the defense looked shaky, especially down the right. Now if only there was a bright young talented and reliable RB playing regularly in the Premier League...

Just reading yet another batch of Saints and England related articles on NewsNow. I'm sure individual articles have been put up already, but there are so many coming down the pipe that I'm just going to put the NewsNow link and advise anybody to read whatever they choose. Course, you'll put -DTLW in a flap when you reply... already read it, to one of his links. :)

What training do the squad do? always lose players through muscle strains. When was the last time Rickie missed a game because of an injury ?

Looking at last season, we only avoided a loss after an international break when we beat Chelsea, so I think having our players keep playing helps.

Ouch, I bet that was painful. There's nothing worse than getting kicked in the U21s.

Anybody else depserately hoping Lallana plays behind Rooney? Think that could be very exciting in terms of intelligence and link-up!

Not sure you can use intelligence and Rooney in the same sentence!

Hodgson says: "I can't honestly say I've got 18 names stamped with five more to come. There is a lot that can happen between now and May

    Good news for Adam?

I don't believe it then. They are blatantly just trying to get our hopes up so it ruins our evening when they aren't on.

Southampton duo Jay Rodriguez and Adam Lallana will start for England against Chile at Wembley later, according to the Daily Mirror's John Cross

    BBC out.

Just watching the Hull highlights back, and the more I watch it the more I think it's a travesty that Clyne isn't in the squad. I know Lallana was a shoe in for Motm, but Clyne is in incredible form. I think he's one of the best full backs in the league. His crossing has come on so much recently.
