Ra tic fans probably didn't know they were coppers. Probably thought they were just random passerbys, which makes it OK.
As someone else just wrote if you see some random passer-by getting laid into your mate (and you are highly strung over all the rumours of ultras attacking Celtic fans) then you may be more likely to get involved yourself.
Rebelbhoy has made very useful contribution to the debate on the events in holland . Rebelbhoy adopted a very fair and impartial position on the events . Others have found fault with the Celtic fans and feel those charged should be punished . The problem I have is that the fans that feel Celtic fans are most at fault don't attend Celtic matches but are quick to blame those who regularly attend matches .
Can count on one hand how many home games I missed for the 7 years I had season book, but what the **** has that got to do with 2 ****s in a dutch jail. Nearly every time you post Super, you get in something about attending ****ing matches as if that means your opinion counts more than someone who doesnt go to games. We get it, you go to the games, doesnt change the fact your a blinkered ****ing idiot. A likeable idiot, i'll give you that.
Page 34 onwards http://www.calameo.com/read/000390171e05b9b63a832 It looks like Dev might be owed a few apologies.... Jussayin.
The master of Glesga , many may see you as an idiot , but few are likely to see you as likeable. My point about not attending games and of course you are not part of that group. If you are watching from your sofa or maybe even worse from the local pub , it is hard to have the same buzz that you experience whilst going to or actually at a match . Its difficult to know how you would react if someone in plain clothes started to kick someone who you were drinking with earlier. Indeed if you never went abroad its difficult to know if it would be likely to be drinking down town four or five hours before the match . There are many many more things like that which could effect your judgement . As for the football the crowd reaction gives a more accurate estimation of the match than studio pundits . The crowd can carry you on to a higher level of Enjoyment . Its a different package but Master you know that . I am not saying everyone's posts are not important and valuable but I would prefer if they were more neutral. I in the past have been no supporter of Rebelbhoy but I have to say that his posts of a neutral state are definitely of a very fair and impartial manner
On the day of the match, the Burgemeester (Mayor) of Amsterdam, Eberhard Van der Laan, used his powers to issue a “noodbevel” / a special emergency order, authorizing police to arrest anyone they suspected might be a danger to public order. “The noodbevel applies to supporters of the German club St. Pauli and the Belgian club Anderlecht and supporters of Dinamo Zagreb who have no ticket and are located in the capital ” And Mayor Eberhard van der Laan of Amsterdam on Wednesday issued a noodbevel . On this basis, the police officers who want to disrupt public order removal . That the municipality has announced . The noodbevel applies to supporters of the German club St. Pauli and the Belgian club Anderlecht and supporters of Dinamo Zagreb who have a ticket and are located in the capital . Dinamo Zagreb plays Thursday night against PSV Eindhoven . This applies to much of the city for an emergency regulation . According to the police the football fans decked with characteristics of their own clubs in Amsterdam run around and they are out on riots . In the past, supporters of Dinamo Zagreb misbehave in Amsterdam and there were massive riots and violence . In the Amsterdam Arena Wednesday 's Champions League match Ajax vs Celtic . Police and ME (Riot Police) are ready to keep Ajax and Celtic Supporters apart According to a police spokesman. The afternoon was relatively calm in the capital. http://www.volkskrant.nl/vk/nl/2686...dbevel-voor-Amsterdam-wegens-supporters.dhtml To be clear, when I mentioned the fans of other clubs including St Pauli and Anderlecht, I neither accused them of starting the trouble or even being part of it, but some folks have repeated the lie often enough that it becomes FACT. What I was trying to show is that Amsterdam always sees trouble when a match is being played, whoever happens to be playing. What i did say over and over and over again is that we will never know who started it or what really happened. Especially if that's left to the MSM and people like Keith Jackson to give us any updates.
This information has been out there for anyone who cared to look, rather than just writing this incident off as drunken "neds" who deserve all they get.
So if someone was to jump off a bridge (and you are fairly sure theres a pot of gold at the bottom) then you may be more likely to jump off straight afterwards? Good one micky. And yes I know this is a stupid analogy, I just don't want to justify your stupidity with sensible reply. ***got.
back to Anderlecht fans now. So how many Anderlecht fans were arrested? Must have been scores of them??
