How are we a tinpot club. Unless I am mistaken we are in the premiership.

This could happen at any club. I am thankful he saved the club from going under but the guy is just so stubborn. He has had a argument over the stadium ( HE WANTS TO BUY IT) with the local Council and basically he has spat his dummy out. He sees the word City as common (the daft twat).
This is how a lot of these guys become wealthy, they just steamroller people that get in their way.

The man should go back to Egypt ... they really like dictatorships in his homeland, he will fit in well there...for all the fans and other people connected to the club to allow this carpet bagger to just wipe out 100 plus years of history on a whim and brand people who object as a tiny hand full is TINPOT...for fook sake the fans should stop tugging the foreklock and gets some balls and tell him to fook off <ok>

What makes it worse AKCJ is that this guy has lived in and around Hull for 40+ years and made all of his money from this area. He came to Hull penniless from Eygpt.
His son Ehab was born in or around Hull.

I actually chatted to them at a local posh restaurant on the night of our promotion and they were both humble sort of guys. At the moment though, I just think of him as a deluded old t**t.

Other examples of owners doing what they like:
    Ken Bates....Leeds
    Ashley....Newcastle
    Tan man....Cardiff
    Venkys....Blackburn

I used to love football, but the more you see and read the more you realise the game (to the average man in the street) is dying. It is all about money money and more money nowadays.

A great start for you guys this season....well done.

Easier said than done mate. He saved the club. He has British citizenship due to being here over 40 years.

Boycotting after your season pass has been purchased will not harm him. But, I don't buy food, drinks, shirts, programmes or anything which might benefit him. I buy my beer in a local 10 minutes from the ground.

I am slowly losing interest in the game. That seems a crazy thing to say considering we are in the Premier league, but it's true.
    Mainly due to:
    Players wages
    Sky TV/BT
    Police forces
    Admission prices
All seater stadiums creates lack of atmosphere
    Cheating diving players
Over analysing every kick of a match
    Smug pundits who talk ****e

    The list is endless

Also, without going too deep into it you can see why clubs go bust.
Take my team Hull City AFC....NOW SHORTENED TO....Hull City Tigers,,,,TO BE SHORTENED TO Hull Tigers

The estimated numbers (all rounded for simplicity) are:
    25,000 paying £20 a seat = £50k a match x by 19 matches = £9.5 million

Lets assume match day sponsers revenue covers the stewards + policing and food/drinks revenue pays for the ground maintenance.
It means we have £9.5m to pay on wages. Assuming an average prem footballer earns a £1m pa. The £9.5m does not even cover a full team.

I know that's a simplified way of looking at it but I won't be miles out. Therefore, it is all down to TV money and SKY basically call the shots.

    Rant over.

    Goodnight lads

If fans have already bought this seasons pass it won't hurt him.
    Next season it will.

I agree with you on the principles and we all appear to be mugs buying into what footy, Tesco, asda (other shops are available), all the banks have to offer us.

Stopped going away.. selecting my home matches now..I was disgusted by ben marshall telling us to fook off last season at barnsley... and I got fed up with only having two saturday home games after christmas.. CLUBS HAVE LOST THE PLOT... but I would still boycott if the principle warranted it, even if it cost me... fans/ people in this country need to find a backbone <ok>

I was wondering about us not being in some pole or other. These polls are ****e. The people who conduct these polls never even visit the places they're slagging off.
I lived in Bristol for a while some years ago and the people there were some of the most ignorant you could ever wish to find. They all walked around thinking they were better than the rest. Toffee-nosed c***s.

Anyway, the good bit about being bottom is when the 2m Bulgarians come to Britain they will only pick the good places to live.

The downside for Hull is where we are located. The government spend jack **** in Hull. 6 years ago when the whole country was hit with flooding, Hull & Sheffield got the brunt of it but listening to the news you would have thought only London was affected.

As regards our name change. I have just posted a letter to Papa Allam stating that when I purchased my season ticket the contact was with Hull City AFC and not Hull Tigers or Hull City Tigers. I have asked him to reconsider the name change. I have also asked for a refund if he goes ahead with the name change this season (based on me not wanted to deal with Tigers Ltd). Lets see if I get a reply off the deluded old c**t.

Apologies for venting my spleen here.

If you also notice, most of the worst places to live were in Jockland. Again no jobs up there.

Surely, for scenery and not breathing all the car fumes etc I would have thought some of them places would be heavenly to live.

I refuse to believe that poll simply because Luton is missing.

Which is odd, because the unemployment rate in Scotland is 7.2%, and the UK average is 7.6%, so we apparently have more jobs per head than elsewhere.
