Pitch invasion at half-time in the Palace game. 'City Till We Die', at full blast, by all, facing the good Doctor from the pitch. The stewards couldn't handle thousands. It'd create a rumpus.......
"a rumpus" excellent.. plus you'd never get in the KC again.. everyone knows that which is why you'd have difficulty organising it.. although theoretically I'm all for it
What? Several thousand, with no apparent ring-leader? Let them photograph and ban several thousand - they'd never live it down.
OK.. Mr Allam (sorry but Doctor doesn't quite fit..) did say the fans will vote with their feet.. I'm sure he wouldn't expect a stampede
If Assem Allam was prepared to follow the Swansea City path it could be a lot less. He hinted in his interviews on Tuesday that if we could find the finances to help make City self-financing he would drop the name change.
Don't bring them into it if you're trying to keep the City name. They've been much more successful at marketing it as The Vatican rather than Vatican City.
Maybe this is the point we've been missing? They seem to shift their merchandise all over the world. He get's called "Papa" too.
****off how much money did the premier league guarantee? it was a massive bonus ball getting into the prem this year.something stinks.we need to generate money by changing the name? are we that skint? ffs how bad would it of been if we stayed in the championship.something stinks.
That's spooky. I'm sat here skim reading a few threads, but trying to work out if this is all just sleight of hand, and if so, what's the real issue.
Isn't the right of Hull City AFC to play at the KC protected in the same way Hull FC's is? I thought that was part of the raison d'être of the council funding the place to start with - that Hull City would never be homeless. Does the same apply to Hull Tigers? Maybe not ... It could be a line of attack.
