He seems to have become England's media spokesperson. Is it because everybody likes the Rickie for his passion and honesty or has he really nicked JWP's microphone? Especially as JWP has been very quiet for a few days now which is most unusual for him.
The FA aren't daft...they know Rickie's story revived interest in the England team. That is why they have used him on posters and in interviews...he's just been on Sky again. I believe that he's half way up the plane steps for Rio...a player has to displace Rickie rather than the other way round. As for JWP, he is sulking, but plans are afoot to lure him on to the pitch from the dressing room by dragging a mike on a piece of string.
Berahino gets booked for lifting his shirt with the message: RIP, love you Dad. That's tough, but it's the rule.
Good job I got BT Broadband, this game is quite enjoyable, JWP banging those dead balls in and too many of them going to waste, Sterling and Morrison seem to have an aversion to passing the ball to Luke, he has got into some great positions and hasn't been given the ball.
Just that he always seems to get interviewed, and is very articulate when he is. A career on Question of Sport beckons when he retires from football.
Not as if he took his shirt off. I suppose it is to stop political or contentious messages...they don't want to be put in the position of differentiating between acceptable and nonacceptable messages. It's a simple rule, though I have sympathy for him.
They should just make Rickie England Captain now! No chance you could leave him out of the team then!
Not impressed with Ravel Morrison at all, he has been the weakest link, Zaha has been double teamed and none of the other forwards are giving him any support. Luke had another of those wide runs and a superb cross which again went begging.
