This is a big weekend, on one hand we could go top with some daylight between us and the chasing pack or we could drop to 5th right in the middle of a dogfight. I am really looking forward to the match, i fairly optimistic of the right result.
Cissokho is still new to us so I'm prepared to give him time, but I think Enrique brings a lot more to the game. Okay his end product isn't perfect, sometimes he over-elaborates, but he's very difficult to knock off the ball and he attacks defences and that keeps them occupied and nervous. I really haven't seen Cissokho take people on too much when he's had the opportunity. Enrique definitely first choice for me, when fit.
But how much time can you afford to give to someone here on a on season loan? definitely agree about Enrique being first choice. IMO, there aren't too many LB's better than him in the league. Baines is number one with Ashley Cole probably second (although some may have them the other way around). IMO, Enrique is next.
What he has that both of them don't is some real strength when shielding, jostling with the player, etc. Not many really get by Enrique and take off after.
To be honest, this is his biggest and arguably his only strength. His positioning, concentration levels and game intelligence are relatively poor - his speed and power allows him to make up for his mistakes.
No idea I just like the gif .....but seeing as you asked, Vertonghen is brilliant at LB, Luke Shaw, Clichy & probably Evra would be a head of Enrique for me - who tbf can be excellent on his day, but I just don't think he's consistent enough.
It was edited after I posted that comment mate Clichy? Really? Ok, like shaw I'll give you. Ever is past it, even ask the Mancs. Vertonghen isn't a natural LB, Agger can do a good job at LB too but we're talking about actual LB's. I do agree with you about him being inconsistent.

thursday probably ie proper training session, wednesday i should imagine will be too soon for a lot of players playing on the tues evening.
