What's happening to this place ? Have I entered the twilight zone, peope being banned then unbanned, other people banned and people not knowing if they're banned. Ever so slightly a banning culture seems to be the order of the day here. Am I banned or unbanned? someone help me out here please
I believed you were banned at that time for derailing every single thread you posted on. It appeared that every post you were making was a deliberate attempt to belittle both posters and the club to the extent it was becoming painful to read. It was apparent that you were getting more and more over the top and it was only going to get worse, so it appears a cooling off period was required.I am surprised you did not know that was what you were banned for, as it was stated on the thread that was the reason why. As for not posting on our board again, that is your decision.
KJ, Yes we do but you have a blinkered view (obviously), when we started the process there were teething problems which the likes of you keep harking back to. We try to be fair, we have banned our own posters in the past which is conveniently forgotten by the likes of you and Dilli. Blue notified you of your ban as far as I am aware so please stop with your BS. Everyone sees your posts here and how you try to take the higher moral ground so take a look at yourself first before accusing others of all and sundry. Rant over.
When one is banned, he cannot read your forum so a post on the topic after the fact explaining is no good to the person banned

I have vague recollections of a minor spat,or two,but that is not unique on here, and as we are all fully aware,passions do run high occasionally. So swan,let me assure you that I did not take anything you may have said either "literally",or personally,and that it would all have been "just in the heated debate sense",and that we are O.K.
They're unreal that lot. As stated above how on earth am I supposed to read the threads if I'm banned? I PM'd the mods on both occasions asking them to provide (1) reasons for the bans and (2) evidence supporting it. I was provided with neither, at least not satisfactorily. This phrase 'derailing threads' is bandied around all to readily imo - sometimes on here too. What usually happens is that someone posts something that a lot of posters disagree with and the person who originally posted the comment then gets volley after volley of abuse. **** me I had that from Cardiff posters after I posted a video of Jay Emmanuel Thomas on the old Cardiff 606 board just to show you what you were getting on loan, so it really doesn't take much does it? On the more recent ban I take it the 'derailing' you're referring to is when one of your number (that idiot isawronnymoore aka Tom) was extremely and gratuitously abusive towards me on a thread seemingly started by me but was in fact started by one of your mods using an earlier post of mine. It was unprovoked and uncalled for. When I responded that he was being a "bit thick" (quite a moderate response considering his earlier bile) I was banned. I was also told by Blue Sheep that he "couldn't" ban a Cardiff fan for abuse - not that I was asking him to - but he was happy to ban me because of what I might say on the build up to the derby. I'm happy to share his PM's if requested. One thing I've learned over the years is that if enough people keep repeating the same mantra about someone or something it starts to be believed. Derailing? Don't think so. But yes, you're a welcoming lot I'll give you that. Taff: Take note. That's a rant. But as the OP rightly says there are a lot more important things in this world.
If that's how you see then that's how you see it. I felt you provoked the ban and it was called for as you were aggressive and intent on ruining any attempt at discussion. Of course, you will always see yourself an innocent party. My personal feeling is that your posts ruined my enjoyment of the board. In saying that, I feel you have contributed to discussions before and hope you will do so again.
still cant find where Norway or dai were banned, not bothering anymore. I will also add I have never had a problem with aber or swamp.
I closely read this board Musty, I read much more than I post. The arguement between Dai and Norway was six of one and half a dozen of the other. As for Aberdude I see nothing wrong in the way he posts however this other Swamp character is a different kettle of fish. It's been implied that he is underhanded by one of our posters and I would tend to agree. Conversation, debate and reason is the way it should work on here and this Swamp creature is here to simply disrupt. I am very surprised that this has not been picked up by certain people. I see our posters being banned and unbanned whilst this person is given latitude because we have a moderator that wum's on the Cardiff board. This should not be the way things operate on here. I encourage tolerance of visitors but not to the detriment of this forum. I understand that you are an ex moderator of this forum so I would imagine that you would know exactly how I feel
KJ, Quoting an incident on the the old BBC 606 is lame to say the least. How many of the current posters were active on not 606 and still post here, a handful. Which mods did you pm? "Slimey" is how I usually describe him. Aber seems to have watered down his tough guy persona,and now quietly tends to his allotment!!! Good for him,but bad news for the slugs.

Its called banter dilli, after all the bollocks with you hyping up your match day thread etc didnt you expect there to be a retsliation. This is a multi fan board where others have the right to post. Also I agree with swamp that when something is said in confidence it should remain private.
