I don't know if he is pond life or not. You seem to have made your mind up based on 2 tweets from 12th July. That is grossly unfair, given there is clear ambiguity in this intended target of his vitriol. I don't see how I'm being pig headed to want to give the guy access to justice, whatever the outcome. I am asking you questions Trebor. Is it pig headed not to answer? (Rhetorical) I don't know.
irrelevant imo. I would guess that given his time again he would be more considered in what he tweets. You are certain you know what his tweets mean. Given context, I don't know how you can be. indulge me Based on the investigative journalism of the wonderful folk from...... FF? ok.
Surely a bit of reactionary capital punishment would stop the masses of uncontrollable taig scum amidst our World Class Support (TGITW ©™Â®) going abroad and kicking **** out of policemens' boots? Some sort of deterrent, that's what we need.
I do think the tweets suggest he may not be someone I would wish to be part of my Celtic family. Rebs may want to point out the 'clear ambiguity' but I think we all know what he meant.
All the world's a scumbag, And all the men and women merely players: They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts, His acts being seven ages. At first the infant, Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms. And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel And shining morning face, creeping like snail Unwillingly to school. And then the lover, Sighing like furnace, with a woeful ballad Made to his mistress' eyebrow. Then a soldier, Full of strange oaths and bearded like the pard, Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel, Seeking the bubble reputation Even in the cannon's mouth. And then the justice, In fair round belly with good capon lined, With eyes severe and beard of formal cut, Full of wise saws and modern instances; And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts Into the lean and slipper'd pantaloon, With spectacles on nose and pouch on side, His youthful hose, well saved, a world too wide For his shrunk shank; and his big manly voice, Turning again toward childish treble, pipes And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all, That ends this strange eventful history, Is second childishness and mere oblivion, Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.
Your mind was already made up Thomas. As much as I personally value your contribution in other areas, you are always, without fail the first to put the boot in to other Celtic supporters without knowing the facts. You bend your knee quicker than Harrison Ford in the Last Crusade "The Penitent man shall pass". Yes. I very may well want to point out that he tweets in reference to the OO on the 12th July which conveniently are not included in the gift wrapped follow follow "here's yer biggit" tweets. I point out the ambiguity because there is ambiguity. The guy only reveals his bigotry towards Protestants on the 11th night and the 12th July....unlikely. You are quite right to say that we all think we know what he meant. But what is 100% cast iron, Rock solid FACTAMUNDO is that none of us.... Not me, not you, not Trebor, not anyone but him KNOWS what he meant. I'm sure that lad might suggest that he wouldn't want someone so quick to judge as part of his Celtic family either. You've made your mind up Thomas, so the next step is to find a reason for you to set him apart from what your vision of a Celtic supporter is. Well done. Mission accomplished.
The Celtic family reference was meant as a joke, I really don't believe in the idealistic idea of an atypical Celtic fan nor would I wish there was such a thing, the Celtic family thing I find nauseating. Given the very limited facts available I suspect their is a strong likelihood these people are not the victims they are claiming to be. That's my opinion, nothing more.
