Here's a transcript of the 5Live interview, arguably the worst of the bunch... http://notohulltigers.tumblr.com/post/66879978227/dr-allam-interview-with-bbc-radio-5live-transcript
More lies in there. He won't change the logo ffs? Apart from when he publicly stated he'd change the logo. How can anyone read this stuff and defend the man. I really can't wait until he's out of my club.
The interviews have been embarrassing and frankly insulting to the people who support this club. Assam really needs to wake up and smell the coffee and look beyond his own nose. He's burning bridges by the day.
Listening to the interview on 5Live, I genuinely don't think he realises the difference between the company name and the club name. He's a loony old bloke who for the first time, possibly ever, isn't getting things his own way, and he doesn't like it. Just ask Ionians or Hull YPI about him not getting his own way.
Whilst I appreciate what he has done the guy is a lunatic and is clearly spitting his dummy out in every interview , a takeover now would be nice !
Why? Doesn't spunking £60m of you hard earned not even merit not being referred to as a lunatic? You people make me sick.
You can appreciate that Paul Duffen got us to the Premier League but still want rid, you can appreciate Brown getting us and keeping us in the Premier League but still getting rid. You shouldn't let history or the past cloud your judgements. I am not agreeing with Fettis but you should never make a decision based solely on history.
Because the logic is total nonsense and it's this sort of nonsense that is letting Allam get away with what he wants. Fettis the striker said he would he happy if we got took over. You said that means he doesn't appreciate what Allam has done. He explained perfectly well already that he does appreciate what Allam has done but still wants him out. I want him out too because the man is just beyond repair. He doesn't want to help the fans or anything any more he just want to be the boss. It's an appalling situation and if he was the boss of a big business he'd be called to resign for it. It's no different really, he takes our money and is supposed to serve us as fans. Just because he did some good before doesn't mean he is beyond question now or that we can't want rid of him when he is now doing much more harm than good.
Your right, we should appreciate the way he saved the club when nobody else would touch us with a barge pole. Yes we should appreciate the money he has put in to get us in the Premier League. We should also note that he has the opportunity to get his money back over the coming years. We should also take into account the way he represents our club in the media. He was on national radio and asked a simple question about how much money changing the name would bring in and you can hear his response. If you were thinking of sponsoring a football club would you pick ours on the basis of that interview? Finally, our name is important to me and thousands of City fans and he rubbished us on national radio. £66 million doesn't give him the right to do that.
If we're being economical with the truth about "thousands of fans" then equally "tens of thousands of fans" would disagree with you. Thanks for listening.
My God, what a moron you are. If it weren't for the fact that I know for every one of you there are thousands who actually are grateful for the fact he has saved the club from oblivion, I would wish you had what you want and he retains the name but decides to take out all of the money from the club and runs it down. That is what people like you deserve.
I find it genuinely incredible that you would read through all that and once again post what is in effect, a claim that we should let him do what he wants because he put his money in. It's as if it's more important to people that we don't hurt this man's feelings - this man who doesn't give a **** about any of us and freely states that this is the case - than the future of the club.
So, if we wind the clock back 3 years, which highly conveniently for you I'm sure, we cannot do, you would say that you would tell him to stick his £60m where the sun doesn't shine because you wouldn't accept his money if he was going to change the name of the club from Hull City to Hull Tigers, would you??
so basically you're in the "he saved us so he can do anything he wants to do" camp. no matter how bizarre or outrageous it is perceived as. if he changes the kit to include a big swastika on the front you'd defend his decision. well, well, well.
