I've always thought so mate but I've noticed he always avoids me and ignores any compliments I've given him. I knew it what just a matter of time before he had a pop at me, just a shame it was such a pathetic attempt. I know how you work mate, back in 2006 we had a spat when you first joined the old 606. Been a long time and no doubt countless things have happened in our life since then. Away from these boards I have met a few of the lads who have become firm friends and last weekend I sent MrRAW the photos of where we have lollie at now. QWOP the Mags fan is a well educated lad who is probably one of the nicest, easy going & caring lads you could meet. He will always watch a derby game with me because we win but always takes it dignified and after another beer it's about people and life and not about football. Billy I have never met but the lad is like a hidden spirit that drives me on each day, met his good friend Jerry and she is a peach. I remember Syd's first post back on the old 606 and we talked about that when I met him, once again a sound, approachable man that is just Syd as you imagine him to be.. It's a funny forum this, I joined the old in 2005 when Tiz, Gucci, FTM73(flash), smudger, RAW, Gordon were all doing their bit and I have been at it since then. When the old 606 announced it closure I was already over here and invited Syd to join knowing how popular he was, he would bring the droves with him. The rest is history but here we all are, falling out over **** all and loving it..
Joe, I'll explain my position clearly and hope I won't have to repeat it ....... I know you understand so I'm just using your post as a means to reply. There are very few people who posts on here, for reasons I don't understand. If half a dozen people stopped posting the board would be ****ed. The likes of SAFC83, and others, never start a worthwhile discussion ..... they only comment on other people's views and either end the thread, with criticism, or drag it along in the direction they prefer. If the board was left to them it would be ****e, ironically the very thing they complain about. It's all very well sitting on the outside and whinging at threads without contributing anything worthwhile. If people want the board to improve they should do summat rather than just ****ing twisting about the people who take the time to make an effort.
Of course it is, only people who want to whinge would think otherwise ....... sometimes it's just to put the jump leads on people's bollocks and try to fire some life into the place. Whatever the case, you won't find anyone who'll defend Sunderland more than me. If the board is just for moaning ****ers, licking their mates arses, I'll happily move to another board ......... there's quite a few to choose from.
