It did raise some good points for discussion ... of course it's no surprise that narrow-minded huns and their ilk are incapable of rational comment.
I started to read it, it may or may not have raised some good points, but when it used "false" newspapers headlines to make comment/refrence about British Army "crimes" I decided it wasn't worth continuing with.
There was an interesting article in the Guardian last week from a guy who gave his reasons fir why this year would be the last year he wore one. As crazy as it sounds Scottish football did not get a mention. I wear a poppy every year and have no problem in doing so.
Trev, the Celtic players were given a choice and they all decided not to wear it . Is that ok with you. Dev , your post earlier demonstrated all that is wrong with the poppy tradition . You were forced to wear it for twenty years . Where is the indication of a voluntary contribution to the charity if you were forced to wear it. Where you forced to contribute as well. Thank God this whole Poppy charade is about to end . Surely it has to stop soon, we are told that it is to commemorate and provide for those who give up their lives and were injured in the two great wars . The veterans of the First World War are dead and the survivors of the second are now in their late eighties or older . So there are less and less victims needing support.
