As discussed on the a thread yesterday, I wish people associated to the club would keep their gobs shut!

 

He's just stating the obvious, I don't mind crap like this.

 

It's not going to happen though mate, all you ever hear when talking about football is "top 4".

So when ever there is an interview it will be brought up and our players/manager/coaching staff etc will all make it perfectly clear that the CL is the competition we want to be competing in.

Sweeping statements such as 'we will finish top 4' are no good - but to let your fans know that's what we are aiming towards is fine.

 

But it usually means bad form to follow.

 

""I knew I would be playing against Fulham a few days before the game from how things were in training."

He got a special bib then, someone needs to tell them that if we can guess the team from the training photos so can the opposition

 

Complete coincidence imo.

I can't see that it could possibly be Agger's fault if we turn to **** because he said we want to do well.

 

Can't recall if it was Bill or Bob that said it but "this is our eleven and its up to the opposition to beat it" (or something along those lines)

 

This is exactly why I don't like it! The club should be aiming high but don't say it in public, it puts extra unnecessary pressure on the players to perform.

 

good to hear, even though stating the obvious and what we want to hear, just hope we see the talking done on the pitch as well and not just off of it.

i hope we are in a good position come jan as cant wait to see who we target.

We should try an experiment. We all have a good luck routine /items / rituals etc, we should all apply them at the same time but so that it is a different result. we might be able to end the world

 

We were the team then though and was the best. Bit different now days, we haven't got a settled 11 for a start!

 

Then surely all our players from now on should be saying how much they are looking forward to playing in the Championship next season.
Using the third law of jinx-dynamics, we can't possibly fail.

Yep. Too early to start claiming a CL place. I would have thought he would only say you are going to play in champions league when you have played all the other contenders.
