It's a rather pointless argument. Singing about the IRA isn't sectarian but it is stupid, offensive to many and **** all to do with Celtic. I personally believe that the Boys of the Old Brigade is inoffensive, it's a sentimental folk song no more no less, but you won't catch me singing it. People perceive it as being the same as glorifying the baby-eating monsters of the PIRA (which is faintly ridiculous) but regardless of whether that's a correct perception, how hard would it be to just, say, not sing it?

Good you're apologising, it's the first step. Now you can go on to admit you have songs that are wrong and some even sectarian then your club will be able to take steps to eradicate the damaging problems within your support. You have a lot of catching up to The Rangers though, as we're already there
Give it a ****ing rest. Just because you managed to go a couple of weeks at the end of last season without singing your bigoted songs doesn't mean you're anywhere near eradicating the problem.

The original post, in case anyone has forgot, is about The Scottish Cup Final singing, I too was there and did not hear ANY of the above song repetoire, all of which should stop immediately to stop tarnishing Celtics name. The Final was sectarian free.
