"Their" Anyway, isn't it beneficial to Celtic that these fans are found innocent, thereby keeping the good name of Celtic intact?
you have a cheek ... spelling mistake lol What, no matter what? Are they innocent? Are they guilty? Do you know? I don't...don't see why you would donate money to pay lawyers for people who may or not be guilty.
Not really. Despite the piss taking we're all aware of your reputation. A couple of lads being nicked isn'tgoing to make you any less welcome in most cities.
my bros housekeeper in Doha is Filipino...she's from the general area greatly effected...her family n friends are ok. She's trying to get home...
I was away in Bergen for work once and went to Mass on the Sunday. The entire congregation were Filipinos and the service was in Norwegian. Surreal is a massive understatement
Pud, i have a problem with the pre-judged "**** em" attitude when it is entirely possible they are innocent. I'll bet any money the evidence is doobieous.
I'm not pre judging them...I have no idea if they are guilty if not. It's entirely possible they are guilty. Maybe not. Donate, support if you want...that's yer opinion. Mine was I don't feel it's a just cause as I don't know them or if they are guilty.
My issue is the appeal for money based on stories released such as that posted by Rebel above almost pre-judge their innocence. It paints a picture that they are innocent without presenting all the facts. Some people will in my opinion be gullible enough to give money based on these sob stories. Now it may be they are innocent, but by equal token if people like us are being criticised for pre-judging guilt then others are guilty of pre-judging innocence. Id rather see real evidence of innocence in this particular individuals case before saying its right to raise money for him. My issue is people may donate off the back of a factless sob story. Thats wrong in my book. Taking money for nothing
Have to agree Anp. I've seen video of people throwing bottles at a tram...but I did not see the events leading up to it, ditto I have seen footage of plainclothes cops laying into Celtic fans..but I did not see what preceded this scene. I'm unwilling to call guilty or innocent because as I have said since last week, I doubt anyone anywhere will ever be able to tell the whole story and not just the bits that suit them.
Im not saying you and others who habe the ability to think about it can make an informed decision. However I know lots of celtic fans (and maybe those who csn least afford it) will give money based on the picture being painted that they are innocent or are 'victims'. Like the poppy appeal or 'help for heroes' certain issues being milked to get money out of people without them knowing where it really goes or why it goes there
I dont have a problem with those that think this stupid, it may be. It's the "they brought shame on the club...**** em" attitude on the first page of this thread that i had a slight problem with. No big deal
