If you don't like sky or Beatles songs you'll hate this then -
I was at the Arsenal match but that day I was in the Kemlyn Road stand with me Ma and Old Man (how he managed to get 3 tickets I'll never know). Whoever said thank God we no longer sing Beatles songs can go **** themselves. When 28,000 Koppites sang them they were brill!!! WE ALL LIVE IN A RED AND WHITE KOP
Must have been amazing to be a home fan with that lot behind you, however I don't think I'd overly enjoy being in the crowd. Crammed in, if one person falls so do 1000's more and probably difficult to see the game.
In the vid of Gerrard interview at the end one of the vids advertised is Lucas v Henderson at fairground games, talk about owned, maybe someone can post
You couldn't really fall as such as you had thousands of people effectively holding you up. Best thing to do was lift your feet and go with the flow...until you hit a barrier
Only one p in kopite Dave, but there was loads of it flowing down the kop steps, commonly known as the gusher. Was housed in the boys pen back then and the microphone didn't pick up our angelic soprano voices in them days.

First thing you got taught Billy was NEVER get caught on a barrier. If the crowd is pushing you on the barrier, meet it with your hands and slide underneath - don't give a **** about the legs of the fellas the other side of the barrier. If you didn't do that then you were likely to become one of the [poor souls that you past down over your head! The worst place for being picked up off your feet was on The Kop Steps after the match. Many times I've gone from top to bottom without touching more than 1 or 2 steps on the way down! But we could sing and no bugger (other than ourselves) was going to decide what and when we sang!
I learned the lesson the hard way Dave (second game on The Kop I think).....was ****ing sore for days after. Never got caught again. Used to love the float down the steps too, a surreal experience as it was pretty high up eh and you could see the thronging masses heading away from the game as well. Tell you what I did love especially at night games. The first glimpse of pure green pitch as you reached the top of the steps....like coming home....then unfortunately you realised you had drunk too much pre-game, were desperate for a piss and had to brave the bogs
