John, I really believe if Malky laid a finger on VT he would not be our manager now. An arguement may well have taken place and voices raised and maybe the story has been embellished in each telling.
Taff the way it was told to myself by the person who was there was very clear when describing the situation , Tan accused Malkies staff of fiddling the transfer money and Malkie stood up ,walked over to Tan and put his finger on his forehead saying that Tan had better appolagise NOW unless he walks...............
Not disputing what you were told John, but every time any story is retold there are slight changes. I maintain had Malky physically laid hands on VT he would have been on his way.
So VT then sacks Malkys right hand man....... Surely he would have walked then JH. Embellished stories always make the best stories. Did you get told this by a woman because they really know how to exaggerate.

I believe there may have been arguements, heck even I want to tell Tan he is acting like a disgrace but I agree with others that the story has likely been changed with each telling. I have been guilty of the same thing, it started as 10 minutes... then it was twenty, followed by four hours and by the time I bragged to the last person it was all night, twice in the morning and she invited her sister. I feel Tan would have no problem immediately sacking anyone for putting a finger on him in any wrong way.
If you are right then it would a sad day for your club, whilst it might be humorous from the outside looking I know what it is like to have a bad owner. It's not a nice feeling. (Bad day because he may be accusing staff for what is effectively fraud when none obviously occurred)
