<cheers> Dex, will Teofilo be the new NH wonder sire? <laugh>

Caught my eye though as his dam Red Bravo was also the Dam of Espiritu who was rated 103 on the flat when running at RV's favourite track, Jebel Ali. Thought there might be a bit of class in that pedigree.

I saw the posts ROTO and removed them. Put up a new thread as a test and it posted OK. Very strange.

I'm not the most observant; for how long has the "Previous Thread | Next Thread" option been there? Never noticed it before.

Many thanks guys - a real good form book bet. I still have no idea how the bookies made rise to glory over double the price to finish in front.

Apparently it happened on a couple of other boards recently. Other than that it would appear not to be a general problem. Must be very difficult to find the cause of something that happens intermittently like that.

<laugh> I love this time of year when we can have a laugh and a joke about Binocular. Was a real shame he was scratched from the 2011 running- Hurricane Fly was about to be 9/2 and 5/1 on the day!!

Looking forward to the Morgiana on Sunday so we can get a measure on Jezki against the Hurricane and hence an angle on the Supreme form. No bet race though.

Stick, please tell me that was a joke!

The correct answer honourable members is that it was the Parliamentary constituency of the Prime Minster that was transferred from Huntingdon to Sedgefield in 1997. I’m sure we all wept over this fact for 13 years until in 2010 it was, amid much jubilation, transferred to Witney.

Is deffo still in training but the slightly worrying thing is that I remember reading around the end of Aug / early Sept that they hoped to have Binocular out much earlier than usual this term – the Listed heat at Kempton that Rock On Ruby and The New One ran in was mentioned as his possible starting point.

At his pomp he was, in my view, the second best hurdler of this millennium thus far, behind the mighty Hardy Eustace, and has to date been unfortunate in accumulating just the sole Champion Hurdle. Providing he is sound there are far, far worse 66/1 shots, in the ante-post lists, and it would not be beyond the realms of impossibility that next March witnessed a Renaissance with a capital ‘R’ for Binocular – he is certainly in the right hands for this to be achieved.

I’d love to see Andy Tinkles on him this term and with McCoy bound for My Tent or Yours that is more than a possibility.
