I recall Spurcat stating that Obika was being lined up for sale (though an
injury around the deadline date may have stopped that one happening) .

Tonight's game has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

That must have been a late decision because it was still on at 4 o'clock.

The under 21 side will play a friendly against Colchester tomorrow at our training ground. Kick off is at midday.

Sorry to have missed it, I would like to have seen Coulibaly play again.

The bloody club sent me to watch Chelsea under 19's play Schalke under 19's.

Amazing that nobody has mentioned Anton Walkes' impressive 'fro!

Schalke seem like a good club to be watching these days, Meyer's followed Draxler into the first team this season and he's looked very good so they must be doing something right.

I take it from the 'bloody' that it was a fruitless endeavour...

I hear a few teams are watching the other Moussa Dembele at Fulham: Anyone seen him play and should we be interested?

More importantly, what would we put on their shirts? This would be worse than when Jim and Jeff Whitley were at Man City!

Stuff about him pops up on the Spurs Newsnow feed pretty consistently.
Seems to be quite a prospect, going by the number of reports he generates and teams that are monitoring him.
I guess the Belgian supply line is getting longer by the day.

I have seen him play and he is a 17 year old who has featured for their under 21 side. He did play in last weekends under 18 game at our training ground and our coaches were raving about him and another lad Solmon Sambou. I wasn't at this game, but when I saw Dembele play he was overshadowed by this Sambou lad who looks to be some talent.

There's been reports in the press about Fulham's academy staff falling out with Jol over his reluctance to pick youth players.
Having witnessed the attitude of some of his senior players recently, he may wish to reconsider while he still can.
Watching Bent and Taarabt having a laugh on the bench as their colleagues got mullered by Liverpool reminded me why I was glad to see the back of them.

I know someone who works at Fulham and aside from the upset over Jol's apparent reluctance to pick the best of the youths, they are also up in arms over his choice of Berbatov as skipper.

    <laugh> Berbatov as captain?! <laugh>
I didn't realise that he'd done that. What an awful decision.
Mr Professional in the midfield and he picks him, instead. <doh>

Has anyone else noticed that, after mini-Bale McEvoy, we now have mini-Drogba Coulthirst? It's uncanny!

Message for Spurcat here, what's your opinion of our young attacking mid - Josh Onomah? A friend of a friend of a friend (well sort of) knows him and reckons he's destined to become a quality player, he showed me like a 30 second clip of the lad and looked ridiculously good for someone so young but that's literally the only bit of action I've seen of him. I done a bit of research and noticed he's already an England youth international and he recently scored for the u-18's a few days back against Fulham. Would you say he's out next shining light so to speak? Potential first teamer? Or are there others way ahead of him?
