Vidic was rightly subbed off, IMO. I'm sure he wanted to play on, but I'm sure Moyes was advised against letting him come back on for the 2nd half.

That's not to say the media attention Spurs got for letting Lloris continue to play was over the top, but I feel there should be some set in stone rules regarding head injuries.

I think the point is that Arsenal escaped the media hullabaloo, as did Everton earlier in the season when Lukaku was knocked out whilst scoring against West Ham, played on despite not remembering scoring.

When Spurs did it there was a huge furore, when any other club has done it not an eyelid has been batted.

Vlad Chiriches, the Romania international captain; our star defender who hasn't really done anything wrong so far this season and saved our necks a few times; he has broken bones in his face. I just want to highlight that.

International break has come at a good time for us in that regard, though I'm sure he'd want to play in the world cup play offs.

Hopefully he can return after the break wearing one of those masky thingies, a scary thought indeed for any attacking players.

Sczczesny looked out cold in my opinion, so it's a bit frustrating that our medical team, the ones who helped saved a life on the pitch, are being questioned when thus far, I've yet to see barely anything on Wenger and his team being bollocked at.

Gutted for Chiriches though, however we might get to see him wear one of those masks we've seen players don before when suffering facial injuries, always wanted our very own Tottenham Batman!

If he does he will then he could have a great new song ' d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d.....VLAD MAN! ' ...just an idea, although those brought up on the current Batman franchise probably wouldn't get it.

It's the same kind of hypocrisy that saw nobody complaining that Swansea were "robbed" after a mythical handball and the award of a 96th minute penalty yet saw a nation go into complete meltdown when WBA were "robbed" at our ground after a poor refereeing error. Never mind the fact the latter had no direct bearing on the table yet the former resulted in Stoke climbing out of the relegation zone and pushing Fulham in which doesn't exactly bode well for Jol.

True but not as much as ours because Saturday was a day of drab fixtures and no football outside Premier League and Championship so the media were able to fully sink their teeth in. In many ways Joe Hart's error against us and Sunderland's first win of the season under a new manager glossed over the handball penalty in your game. Ours was typically first on MOTD.

If Jol is sacked it will be based on the 11 games thus far but I'm sure the fact he's currently in the relegation zone (thanks to Stoke's late penalty at Swansea) will have something to do with it.

    Ironically Fulham play Swansea next...
