what happens when you whack it into the stands ? i'll tell you, the other team gets the ball and launches it into our area with everyman up there What a ****in idiot you are fair play...
And people wonder why threads descend to name calling on here. What do you expect when there is such moronic behaviour.
PGF I tend to argue with and agree with you in equal measure, ups and downs right ? its all good stuff and we both enjy debate .The one thing I notice with daicunt is that he has never entered into any debate EVER!! he leaves a **** bomb then watches it unfold, feeding off the passion of genuine Jacks, ive lost count of the times he has wummed but he keeps pulling the wool over peoples eyes, well I aint buying itor letting it ride anymore
Yep, this one is taking the pi.ss. If he wants to wallow in refereeing decisions that go AGAINST us he deserves all the abuse he gets. Fan, my ar.se.
Diamun as you probably know the rain here in Herts today has been persistent too - so my view is just get on with life then hopefully like the rain it will stop soon
Of course you have the same right, Dai, but my claptrap is more grammatical than your claptrap. But, as usual, you have totally ignored a very good point made by another poster, that the referee did not ALLOW us to retain the ball. He awarded a series of farcical free kicks to Stoke, ensured that the final corner was retaken for no good reason and was only satisfied when he got what he was obviously after - a Stoke equaliser. In my opinion, he had an agenda and we all know what it was. Except maybe you.
Do you mean life will stop soon or the persistence? I hope the latter but the former will eventually too! Whereabouts are you in the downpour?
ask me if i care what anyone thinks ...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Nah not at all as i believe every thing i say. I dont have a problem but a number of you have a big problem.. get over yourselves and go back to talking beer and rissoles and ignore us that want to talk football......Is that plain and simple for you to understand or do you want to argue all night. I have my views and everyone else has their views....deal with it ..
Of course you have the same right, Dai, but my claptrap is more grammatical than your claptrap. you have the right to have that opinion now be a decent man and accept i have my opinion..
The Ref was very poor towards the end of the game, but we have been here before, when we allow games to dictate to us, instead of taking control of the game and do the dictating ourselves, you cannot expect to get over the finishing line every time you have a one goal advantage, and that's something our players need to understand, as events will eventually conspire against you in such situations, as they did, and have done many times, how many debates have we had on this? Stuart Attwell, Mark Clattenburg, Tony Bates, James Linington, etc, etc, and I could go on about crap Referee's no point, the real issue was our poor start, gifting Stoke not one but two goals, and that was the problem, yes we showed character coming back, but this is a crap Stoke propping up the table, and if our players don't start putting in serious shifts for 90 minutes, we too will be propping up the table!...............
They were made to look crap at times but Stoke are not a crap team. They are in transition and are trying to play the right way under Hughes. They are much better outfit than our neighbours imo.
Fair point and I agree. Actually, I owe an apology to Mark Hughes. I expected his usual sour post match response where he would insist that his team deserved more from the game. As it transpired, he sympathised with us about the penalty decision and was reasonably gracious about our performance. Kudos to Sparky. I hope he succeeds with his project to make Stoke a better footballing side.
I agree. I don't like Hughes - it's just a personality thing for me because I think he's a real piece of work - but his managerial record isn't that bad actually and he understands a lot about the game. I applaud him for starting to turn around a team that's been Pullisized and as you say ivor he was quite good in his post match assessment.
