Just seen him on the local news. Apparently he`s got a B&B in York which is in the running for a major award. Best of luck to him, just goes to show you can`t keep a good man down.
I loved watching him play..However, he really should have progressed to being an England regular with all his ability and attributes, but for one reason or another, he never looked the same player once he left us..
He wrote his way into the folklore of two teams like. Found his level at darlo for that stage of his career and scored goals for fun for them. Saw him play a lot at Darlo, he was still loving his footy even at that level.

Gabbiadini for me is the epitome of the Sunderland I grew up with. Fantastic at lower levels but absolutely gash against the best. Gave his all though and good luck to him.
