He'd be wise to stay for a while longer. Life at most big clubs for managers is nasty, brutish and short, and his style requires considerable buy-in; Barca has gotten it from their stars in part because so many came through the Academy, but if Poch went to (as an example) PSG and demanded that they run themselves into the ground in pursuit of the ball, he'd get more than a few sideways glances.
I believe MP decided not to receive settlement money from Espanol as he knew the club was so broke, that shows the guy shows love to his team. A big club would not interest MP, he wants to build his own legacy.
I think the biggest threat would not be from a club side, but from the national side, as South American players/managers love their countries. I can see Argentina calling at some point. Hopefully he considers himself too young, but not sure if it's considered a lack of respect to turn down such an opportunity or not.
And we just had our best summer for thirty years. Still, perhaps he'll grow to love the wind and rain.
Can't see him going to a national side as there just wouldn't be the time to implement his preferred playing style.
