Even carragher said Suarez is overrated and aguero is better. Aguero strikes every 121, Suarez 160

    Top strikers:

    Rvp
    Aguero
    Suarez
    Roon
    Negredo
    Hernandez
    Dzeko
    Giroud
    Sturbridge

Rvp and aguero do the business in big matches too

    On current form yes.

Last season Rvp got a lot of important goals for Utd. Title winning ones under pressure. Ditto aguero the year before

RvP is the best striker in the league overall.

On form though? Well hes scored 4 in his last 4 PL games ( a goal a game )

Suarez has 5 in his last 4. only scored in 2 of those.

Going back to the international break.

I wouldn't have Giroud on that list for the simple reason that he cannot score goals outside of London (or very rarely does so). This is a massive flaw in his game. I can't understand it.

Been thinking, is it worth recalling Joel Campbell from Olympiakos to cover the striking depth issue? Bendtner is clearly hopeless, Campbell has apprently been excellent for Olympiakos this season, now he has a work permit (if i read correctly), would it be worth a shot?

ANYBODY is better than Bendy, I think we should play Akpom ahead of him.

It is the Greek league and once Pod and Theo are back Bendy won't even make the bench and so if we recall him he'd just be in the reserves seeing as the aforementioned duo should be back for Soton

Nah, let him develop probably, instead of brining him back and not playing him when at the minute he is getting game time. Talking about Olympiakos, Kostas Mitroglou might be someone we should look at. Has impressed in the CL for two seasons now.

Yes, he has also scored four times in the CL this season, some quality goals as well.

Also how come the biggest match thread (in terms of post's), are always because of defeats? Villa and this one are the biggest match threads this season, and those are our only two league defeats. Clearly a lot of negative ****ers on here. Stats prove it. <whistle>

I don't know, the impression cast on my mind over recent years is that United have basically let us play around, sacrifice possession and hit us on the break.

I've been reserving judgement, but saw the clash with Utd as one of the milestones whereby to assess where we are. Not really sure what this game said about us. We do have a tendency to make other teams look better than they are. So I dont know.

You're right about the fallout not being too bad. The view from the top is always nice.

If your best option from the bench is Bendtner you can forget about the title, tbh you'd probably be better playing with 10 men. You can sy what you like about Adebayor, but he knew how good Nikolarse was

Sadly injuries have ****ed us over. If fit he won't even be on the reserves. IMO, Pod, Theo, Oxo, Akpom, Afobe are all better striking options than him

This game was tough to predict, because both sides can put in an odd goal, and that changes everything. We had a couple of players that were obviously showing fatigue from mid-week, and United got the break. Fair play, but another day, it might go the other way. I did not have the feeling that we were out-classed like I have done in the past.

Who can blame people for being negative after such a rubbish performance, and losing our 9th game in 11 with United, and our 6th in a row at Old Trafford. If people can't see the negative in that, aka Toledo, then you're obviously living in the world of delusion. Because you know, losing 6 times in a row at OT, losing in 9 out of 11 against United, is not negative at all, off course not, let's be positive about it!

And even if United were ****, which they were, what's it say that THEY STILL BEAT US AGAIN, for ****s sake even the spin job response makes the loss look worse, lol, but spin jobbers aka Toledo will keep spinning and spinning and spinning.

Remember though, RVP is not good enough for Arsenal, :-D.

Think it's aimed more at the vast overreaction by Arsenal fans. On Wednesday we can win the Prem, now we're not good enough and our squad is crap and our players aren't good enough. United were far from **** today and we are still top. 1 loss at OT is not going to kill our season. ANd though I'd have liked a win or a point we lost, so move on and get better results next time.
