The liverpool fans are having a debate about this on their board after Gerrard said he would put Suarez in the top 3 best players in the world. 1 and 2 is Ronaldo and Messi, you can decide i n which order though,, for me, the 3 rd best player in the world has to be RVP or Ibra.
I'm not saying this as a United fan but, i'm still not sure on him, he does it against the smaller teams but not against a big team.
Nah just trying to understand why berbatov was a flat track bully but suarez is not. RvP is better than Suarez. few would debate that. sure hes not scored 5 goals against 3 of the worst sides in the league but hes scored goals against 2 of the current top 4 and 4 in his last 4 games winning his side 10 points. Suarez in the same period has flat track bullied 2 sides and been somewhat ineffective as a striker in the other two.
Well I would say technically both are good. RvP has the better touch and control, the better strike. Hes certainly the better striker. Suarez is more tenacious, works harder and has a little more flair.
Isn't really a stand out 3rd player tbh, lot of good players. Wouldn't agree with RVP though, Rooney, Suarez & Aguero are better imo, RVP is class though
That's absolute bollox Matth. Suarez is a box of tricks and covers every blade of grass every game, working like a cart horse - RVP is an out and out goal scorer. Even trying to compare the two is stupid. Bit like comparing Gerrard and Giggs (for example).
