I think it is all too late for Greenpeace or anyone else for that matter, the weather patterns around the earth are becoming more deadly by the day, and we look hell bent on destroying the planet, real shame but it looks beyond the point of no return.

Or maybe the weather is changing due to natures natural cycle. By this definition, hurricanes should now be formed frequently in the category 5 each year. When it comes to weather conditions, people also need to take into account the position of the jet stream. I.e. If the jet stream is situated in Southern Spain for a long period of time during our winter months, then we would have very cold conditions. However, this would be spun in the media and used as propaganda for global warming campaigners etc saying that global warming has affected our winters.
There's also evidence that supports theories that the earth isn't warming but actually cooling.

Not sure you can say that Valley, as both camps have science on their side, though there are very few Scientists in denial over global warming any more, only those paid to say so by multi-national corporations!..............<cheers>

I think you underestimate how much group think can take over a particular branch of science.

If you don't tow the conventional lines you won't get a job or funding or perhaps even pass an exam.

Look at nutrition and how the fallacious low-fat high-carb has become the accepted wisdom.

Same with economics - how many economists predicted the credit crunch. Only ones outside the mainstream.

Science is formulated by humans with all their failings.
