http://espnfc.com/player/_/id/125088/luis-suárez?cc=5739 heres his game by game stats. Nobody cares about uruguay on here as nobody is Uruguayan ( except Luv ) but he doesnt count. 5 goals against 3 of the worst sides in the league. The goals v WBA are impressive though, credit where its due.
I only asked a question. I could have reminded you of the last time old steven claimed one of yours was in the same bracket as messi......
So you're still ignoring Suarez's record prior to this season then? C.Ronaldo was at Man Utd for six years. He was a "scrawny teenager" for what, a season or two at the most? That leaves four years of Man Utd fans claiming him to be one of the best in the world. He scored goals for fun in his last two season. So that's two years inbetween that he had a reputation. Suarez has been at Liverpool three years in January (although you could claim two and a hlaf years considering how many games he's missed ) C.Ronaldo: 103 goals in 202 games (0.51 per game) (I've deducted his first two "scrawny teenager" seasons) Suarez: 59 in 103 (0.57 per game)
He's missed 5 games FFS and he's joint top scorer. Let's coincidentally forget everything he's done in his career up to this date shall we. I could counter argue and talk about Rooney's 5 goals this season. 1 v Fulham 1 v Stoke 1 v West Brom 1 v C Palace and a consolation goal in a 4-1 drubbing by City. But hey nice try UIR
Rooneys a flat track bully though. However hes usually doing the leg work against the big sides and gets a more attacking role against smaller sides. Maybe the same can be said of suarez? I dont know.
I can't say I recall us asking Suarez to play deeper. Like Rooney, he drops deep anyway and never stops working. they are both like kids in a playground; just want to play football.
