Great post. When I first saw Larsson's challenge I thought it was fine, but then when they played it back you could see it was a nasty one, I think he pulled out a bit at the end which prevented what could have been a bad injury, it was a yellow at least and could easily have been a red. We were lucky on that count. It was nice to see Brown back we really are a different team when he plays. Good luck for the rest of the season
Everyone looks a player when they leave us, just a shame you got Horswill.. He was a good player but at the time his hair got into his eyes..
Can't think of a player who has split the fans so much as Sess. I would have loved to keep him. The way we are actually now making an effort to get up and support the strikers would have been great for him.
Big Dave Watson in that team too, we did get Jeff Clarke in return though. Great post - Good luck to "el ingeniero" he's got you playing some great football
There were rumours that Sessegnon wasn't settling in almost as soon as he arrived. Every transfer window was 'will he won't he'. He claimed he was homesick and ambitious then went to West Brom BTW, as is traditional for any visitors to this board ............. **** off OP
Excellent post. People say Larsson should've been off but it looked innocuous from my seat. Nothing Mich in it. Tv obviously shows different. But. On the other hand Yaya could easily have been booked 3 times fir leaving his foot in on Colback before his yellow card and Richards looked ott from my seat (but I was 100+ yards away') Great performance from our guys. Stopped your supply line. Mannonr had only one shot to save of any note
And on the WBA move, he has apparently said he didn't want to leave. We will never definitively know the score regarding Sess being settled, agent interference, the PDC factor, the list could be endless.
Its good to hear such an honest and pragmatic assessment (although from what I can remember of your posts, they are always like that), I'm not sure I could be as magnanimous in defeat.
