And no, I don't mean a tart from youporn.
I mean Wes Brown. He would have stopped Barcelona single handedly today, he was simply immense.
I've not seen a defensive display like that from a Sunderland player before in my time.

Talent-wise he is top drawer. Health-wise...

Let's hope he stays healthy <ok>

Stan Varga in his first game against Arsenal was similar as far as I remember. Brown is a superb player, its his fitness that lets him down, fingers crossed we can get 20 games out of him this season

Top notch today. Just as good as his one display in China. Cover him in cotton wool

In my lifetime I can't remember a better one. Where in the league would we be if him and Fletcher had been fit all season?? Nowhere near where we are. There were some lions out there today. Awesome

Any word on weather Wes has come through unscaved? You have to ask with him but if he's knock free going into the two week international break then it can only be a good thing.

Dave Watson used to have me standing gobsmacked in wonder at some of his MOTM displays.

I can remember when the headlines in the Football Echo said "When will Charlie Hurley play a bad game "
