There seems to be more & more of these lately why? amazing when you see tennis players stretching for balls nothing happens they don't get any or very very rare, whether its the warm up or sometimes lack of it i don't know, your thoughts.
I said something similar on the match day thread Jeff. Questions need to be asked of the coaching/medical staff.
I wonder if it is the pitches at Harlington. We seem to have suffered many hamstring injuries since moving the training ground there.
Its the training and warm up/down. One is a fluke, 2 and you start to think theres a problem, but to get 4 in one game and count the rest of them weve had previously as well. There has to be something to do with the lack of flexibility or agility. They need to be taught yoga or ballet or something.
Any time I've been in Harlington, I thought the pitches were very dry and hard. I could be a million miles off but I wonder if that is a contributory factor.
I was surprised how hard our pitch was when I was on it, it was just as hard as my old training pitch which was a wet artificial one.
It appears that a lot of this is due to lean mass as a contributing factor. Digest if you so will... http://www.rehabroom.co.uk/resource...ith increased propensity hamstring injury.pdf
Must be why mine is playing up so much the past couple of months - I went for a kick-about with the youngest and the dog yesterday for 20mins and I reckon I will be out for at least 4 weeks now as a result!
